Workshop Content:
In this workshop, together with a small group of 3–6 people, I will experience something about honey bees, the course of a bee year, and honey harvesting. First, we will take a short walk near the bee teaching garden and visit places along the way where bees collect nectar and pollen throughout the year—that is: Which blossoms are they currently visiting (foraging)? Afterwards, we’ll head together to my bee teaching garden for an unforgettable opportunity to look inside one of my colonies, giving you a glimpse into a real honey bee colony! You are welcome to bring all your questions. I have also prepared digital teaching materials to share knowledge with you both practically and theoretically. And because that’s not all, we’ll finish the workshop with a honey tasting, where you can enjoy various regional honey varieties with all your senses.
